About the role

• Teach drama classes to students in grades K-12
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state standards
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging theater lessons
• Facilitate group activities and performances
• Support students' development of acting skills
• Maintain classroom materials and resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Theater Education or related field
• Teaching certification in Drama or related area
• Experience teaching theater to students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
• Passion for theater and education
• Effective time management and organization skills

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools
• Knowledge of current best practices in theater education
