Drafting & Design Intern Design Your Future at Subsea7 Subsea7 has a summer internship position for drafting & design students to join us in our Houston, TX office. This will be a 10-week program that provides a great opportunity to come and work with us; learn about what we do and what it means to work for Subsea7.

Responsibilities

• The drafting & design Intern will be integrated into the department to provide support to varying disciplines from structural for vessel mobilizations to project team for installation.
• The position will provide exposure to various drawing types required for Subsea Engineering design.
• With potential opportunities to visit Subsea7 work sites and third party suppliers’ facilities.
• Become familiar with Subsea 7 documents related to installation aids.
• Become familiar with applicable industry codes and standards.
• Create Installation Storyboard, Field Layout, Equipment Seafastening on vessel and Structure lift rigging drawings.
• Introduction to general subsea engineering design.
• Intern will be shadowing experienced Designers.
