Door Shop Production Associate - Rockford

Pull and stage doors for the next day’s production, ensuring they are organized and ready for assembly.

Load, unload, and move materials as required.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety procedures.

Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the supervisor.

Support inventory management and restocking of materials.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Job Requirements (Education & Experience)

• Experience with a production environment, especially in the wood working industries, is a huge plus (machine operators, machinist, assemblers, etc)
• Experienced in forklift operation, Cherry picker and similar equipment (certification preferred)
• Lumber yard/ door experience a plus
• Skilled in verifying incoming materials against documentation, reporting discrepancies or damage, and ensuring proper inventory handling.
• An effective communicator who works well with customers and team members to resolve fabrication or delivery issues.
• Reliable and flexible, with the ability to locate, stage, and prepare materials for timely customer pickup or delivery.
• Assist our delivery drivers by loading and securing material in the truck.
