Responsibilities

• Assist patients and guests to and from cars, courtesy vans, shuttle buses, or taxis while maintaining a pleasant and helpful relationship.
• Offer direction support, mobility assistance, and answer general questions from guests.
• Keep patient loading zones clear and transport patients, their personal belongings, or selected medical devices.
• Call, record, and monitor taxi cabs and courtesy vehicles daily for patients and visitors.
• Assist and support valet operations as directed and sanitize any equipment used to support patients.
• Assist with traffic control in drive-up lanes to ensure safety.
• Perform wheelchair recovery, which may include hospital floors, clinic floors, hotels, and other on- and off-campus ancillary areas.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent or higher education is required.
• Previous hospital or clinical experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Requires good communication, telephone, and human relation skills to interact with patients, guests, and staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress.
• Works varied hours which may include days, evenings, holidays, and weekends, with rotating days off.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.

Pay

$20.00 - $26.44 / hour

Schedule

Full Time, 80 hours per pay period.

• Week 1: Wed: 7:00am-3:30pm, Thu: 7:00am-3:30pm, Fri: 7:00am-3:30pm, Sat: Off, Sun: Off, Mon: 7:00am-3:30pm, Tue: 7:00am-3:30pm
• Week 2: Wed: 7:30am-4:00pm, Thu: 7:30am-4:00pm, Fri: 7:30am-4:00pm, Sat: Off, Sun: Off, Mon: 7:00am-3:30pm, Tue: 7:00am-3:30pm

No weekends.
