Job Summary

Ensures Compliance and Customer Service

This role ensures total operation compliance with state and federal regulations, maintains high customer service, and ensures a clean and professional environment.

Maintains Donor Conditions and Confidentiality

• Maintain donor comfort, safety, and quality of plasma product
• Maintain donor confidentiality
• Maintain complete and accurate record keeping

Operational Tasks

• Stocks and maintains supplies
• Maintains equipment based on SOPs
• Monitors donor conditions
• Performs vitals evaluation and finger stick
• Registers donors
• Prepares and cleans equipment
• Trains and troubleshoots machine alarms
• Cleans spills and handles biohazardous waste
• Determines donor eligibility
• Collects and stores plasma product
• Prepares and ships samples
• Maintains freezer and refrigerator temperatures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred
• Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
• Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred (location specific)
