Job Summary
Ensures Compliance and Customer Service
This role ensures total operation compliance with state and federal regulations, maintains high customer service, and ensures a clean and professional environment.
Maintains Donor Conditions and Confidentiality
- Maintain donor comfort, safety, and quality of plasma product
- Maintain donor confidentiality
- Maintain complete and accurate record keeping
Operational Tasks
- Stocks and maintains supplies
- Maintains equipment based on SOPs
- Monitors donor conditions
- Performs vitals evaluation and finger stick
- Registers donors
- Prepares and cleans equipment
- Trains and troubleshoots machine alarms
- Cleans spills and handles biohazardous waste
- Determines donor eligibility
- Collects and stores plasma product
- Prepares and ships samples
- Maintains freezer and refrigerator temperatures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred (location specific)
