Job Description
We're hiring immediately, and we will train you! Whether you are just starting your career, or have some phlebotomy experience, we're here to help you leverage the extensive phlebotomy training provided, develop your talents, and perform at your best.
What to Expect
- Schedule: Start Date: Not specified
- Training Information: Training lasts approximately 12 weeks and is based out of our Greentree location. Weeks 1–2: Classroom and hands-on training with a trainer, including travel to various Donation Centers and mobile sites. Weeks 3–4: Field experience alongside a preceptor on mobile drives and at site locations. Weeks 5–12: Continued training in specific skilled areas could include Phlebotomy, Medical Interview, Alyx, and Trima (approximately 4 weeks per area).
- After successfully completing training and final assessments at Greentree, team members may continue to travel to various fixed and mobile site locations as part of their regular schedule.
What You'll Do
- Assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations within a 200-mile range.
- Create comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors.
- Help save lives every day.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED - Required
- Active driver's license with a clean driving record - Required
- Able to lift 40 pounds - Required
