Donations Sorters/Pricers
About the role
Donations Sorters/Pricers are the “face of Goodwill” to the donors who make our work possible. They are team-oriented, friendly, and go out of their way to help donors. This role involves lifting incoming donations (up to 50 lbs.) and evaluating and pricing merchandise appropriately. We seek individuals who prioritize work and enjoy meeting high expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet donors and unload donated goods.
- Provide friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts.
- Maintain a safe and neat work environment, ensuring efficiency in the assigned area.
- May include cross-training in the following areas:
- Cash register operation.
- Hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production-style setting.
Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Production or similar experience preferred.
- Available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
Schedule
Stores are open Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday, 11 AM to 8 PM.
Pay
$15 per hour.
