Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff and Mental Health Technicians
- Oversee daily nursing operations and staffing
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Missouri regulations, and nursing standards
- Develop and implement nursing policies and clinical best practices
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and performance outcomes
- Manage staffing plans, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and executive leadership to coordinate exceptional patient care
- Support employee engagement, education, competency validation, and professional development
- Foster a safe, trauma-informed, therapeutic environment for residents and staff
- Participate in leadership planning, strategic initiatives, and organizational growth
Requirements
- Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current CPR certification
- Previous nursing leadership experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Behavioral health experience (preferred)
- Pediatric or adolescent nursing experience (preferred)
- Residential treatment or inpatient psychiatric experience (preferred)
