DON-Director of Nursing (RN) – Behavioral Health | Residential Treatment | Leadership Opportunity

About the role

Make a Difference. Lead with Purpose. Perimeter Behavioral Health is growing, and we are looking for an exceptional Director of Nursing to help lead our newest residential treatment facility in Saint Robert, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff and Mental Health Technicians
• Oversee daily nursing operations and staffing
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Missouri regulations, and nursing standards
• Develop and implement nursing policies and clinical best practices
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and performance outcomes
• Manage staffing plans, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and executive leadership to coordinate exceptional patient care
• Support employee engagement, education, competency validation, and professional development
• Foster a safe, trauma-informed, therapeutic environment for residents and staff
• Participate in leadership planning, strategic initiatives, and organizational growth

Requirements

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified Current CPR
• Previous nursing leadership experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Behavioral health experience
• Pediatric or adolescent nursing experience
• Residential treatment or inpatient psychiatric experience
