About the role
The Recovery Village Indianapolis (RVI) is an addiction treatment center with a continuum of care for anyone struggling with substance use disorders. With 71 beds, 15 beds for Detox, 34 beds for Residential, and 22 beds for Partial Hospitalization Program/Intensive Outpatient Treatment, we are committed to making a difference and saving lives.
Responsibilities
- Establishing and maintaining nursing practice standards and policies aligned with regulatory requirements
- Managing staff performance, recruitment, retention, and development
- Collaborating with departments and agencies for enhanced patient care and resource sharing
- Serving on the facility's core management team to integrate nursing services effectively
- Overseeing nursing staffing levels and applying flexible staffing strategies
- Cooking infection control policies and ensuring a safe environment
- Coordinating pharmacy, laboratory, and patient rights programs
- Maintaining budgetary guidelines for nursing supplies and equipment
- Providing direct nursing services, including patient assessments, medication administration, documentation, and communication with medical personnel
- Participating in facility meetings, training, and regulatory compliance activities
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and adhering to licensing standards
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required; BSN preferred
- Five (5) years' experience in nursing field with emphasis in psychiatric, substance abuse, or eating disorders required
- Registered Nurse in the State of licensure, active and in good standing required
- CPR Certification required
- Experience in Nursing Leadership within a Residential or Inpatient treatment environment
