The Document Imaging Tech is responsible for the creation of electronic medical records. This includes accurately prepping, scanning, quality checking and validating documents. The Document Imaging Tech is also responsible for indexing all documents according to organizational guidelines. This employee maintains high quality of work with consistency and timely turnaround of all medical records documents to ensure proper and timely patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prep, scan, quality check, and validate medical documents to create electronic medical records.
• Index all documents according to organizational guidelines.
• Maintain high quality and consistency in work with timely turnaround of medical records documents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• At least one year of experience working in a medical records department in an acute care setting (preferred).
