Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain project QA/CX library folders following CST's document filing standards
- Organize, file, and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, checklists, and commissioning records
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and stored in the appropriate locations
- Use multiple software platforms to manage, track, and retrieve project documentation
- Support the Quality team by maintaining documentation required throughout each phase of the project
- Assist the QC Manager with processing quality documents, checklists, testing records, and project plans
- Follow company, client, and General Contractor document control procedures and quality requirements
- Maintain project-specific quality checklists and documentation logs
- Track document revisions and outstanding items to help ensure timely completion
- Communicate with project teams to gather, update, and distribute project documentation
- Assist with project closeout documentation and record retention
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, current codes, and industry standards, or the ability to learn and apply them
- Experience working with project owners, general contractors, trade partners, and subcontractors is preferred
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the construction industry or a related support role preferred
- Prior experience in Quality Control or document control is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, dependability, and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
