Responsibilities

  • Manage documentation control activities related to coordination management of change orders around Helen of Troy products in relation to marketing, engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and more.
  • Auxiliary in the implementation and maintenance of robust documentation control systems, performing training and support of these systems on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage change orders and doc control activities.
  • Support Program Managers and Project Engineers in the execution of technical and non-technical projects and corresponding documentation.
  • Cook up communication between internal and external resources and suppliers.
  • Create Finished Good Bill of Materials (BOMs) within Agile.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure accurate release of information (documents, artwork, etc.).
  • Run reports as needed for outstanding tasks like ECOs, DCO’s, etc.
  • Create, update, review, and develop Document Control standard operating procedures and support work instructions based on ISO standards and FDA Quality System Regulations.
  • Manage additional department requirements as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize different tasks, meet deadlines, and manage expectations accordingly across various departments.
  • Able to handle a diverse team, work proactively in a team environment, and with our manufacturing suppliers across different countries and time zones.
  • Must be detail oriented and have good follow-through skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job.
  • Strong technical writing ability.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues, conduct investigations with effective solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Share Point, Oracle E-Business.
  • Smartsheet's and Agile PLM software a plus.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, in either business or technical discipline.
  • 1+ years of related experience, supporting technical project documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
