Job Duties
As a Warehouse Systems Technician:
- Answers phone calls from technicians and customers, providing technical support to fix issues.
- Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair issues properly.
- Perform planned maintenance services and breakdown repairs.
- Maintain a company service vehicle and parts inventory.
- Able to work in various heights and confined spaces.
- Able to work safely on a ladder.
- Perform in a team environment.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a good attendance record.
- Maintain positive customer relations and approach all situations in a tactful and professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational or technical training preferred.
- 1 or more years of maintenance experience in a service technician role in the material handling industry preferred.
- Other maintenance experience will be considered (military, automotive/diesel, building maintenance, etc.).
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical ac/dc systems up to 480 volts, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
- Welding experience is required.
- Certification preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Dock leveler and roll-up door experience preferred.
- Additional training will be provided.
- Have a valid CA driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Able to tow a trailer preferred.
- Occasional overnight traveling may be required.
- Some weekends and after-hours work may be required.
