About the role
We are seeking an Industrial Wiring Technician to work in our Production Department, assisting with the assembly and wiring of Electrical Test Equipment. This includes using electrical schematics to determine component layout, wire and cable types, routing, and mounting components in cabinets. The role requires the ability to recognize various electrical components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, relays, contactors, and diodes.
Responsibilities
- Assist team members in completing tasks and jobs
- Follow written and verbal communications, policies, and procedures to maintain quality and accuracy
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Build various types of cables
- Assemble and wire component and control panels
- Perform basic soldering, including PC boards
- Drill and tap holes in different materials
- Complete wiring of smaller, less complex jobs such as voltage regulators
- Maintain a clean, safe, and functional workstation
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; preferably with classes in Electronics or Electrical Technology
- Technical School in Electrical Technology is a plus; additional experience may be considered in lieu of education
- 1 or 2 years of experience in Industrial Wiring (preferred but not required)
Skills
- Reading of Electrical Schematics
- Circuit board soldering
- Knowledge and use of basic hand tools, hand crimpers, and cutters
- Knowledge and use of powered hand tools
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to stand, sit, climb step ladders, file paperwork, and use telephones
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds

Pay
Hourly pay range: Minimum $17.62 – Midpoint $22.02. Actual base salary offered will be determined based on work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant education or training experience.
