Wiring Technician

About the role

Location: Culver City, CA 90230. This is an onsite, 6‑month assignment with possibility of extension based on performance and budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform low‑voltage wiring and harness assembly, including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, routing, and installing wires (e.g., Cat 6 and 22‑gauge).
• Build and install test wiring harnesses to support internal quality assurance and testing activities.
• Conduct basic electrical testing such as continuity and low‑voltage tests, and run test procedures to verify wiring and harness functionality.
• Read and follow wire harness assembly instructions; document wire movements, inventory, and test results in Google Sheets.
• Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in wiring and harness assembly required.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (SMT and through‑hole) required.
• Strong background in Google Workspace preferred.
• J‑STD‑001 Certification or similar preferred.
• Previous experience with Linux or Mac terminal environments preferred.

Pay

$28 per hour to start; 6‑month assignment with possibility for extension based on performance and budget.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm PST (onsite).
