About the role
The Data Management System (DMS) Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team that ensures new or existing products are correctly set up in the DMS system. This includes placing products in the right locations, verifying dimensions, quantities, and tier heights, and resolving discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate product placement in the DMS system
- Resolve inventory discrepancies by identifying missing product locations
- Monitor warehouse capacity and adjust product placements as needed
- Collaborate with Operations to optimize product placement for efficient picking
Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule to meet facility needs
- Lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Work in a distribution/warehouse environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience with direct reports
- Experience mentoring and coaching others
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Experience with software applications like Excel, Access, or Lowe’s DMS system
