About the role
The Division of Hematology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals is recruiting faculty at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the Adjunct, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence series. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Join a major academic medical center and established fellowship training program
- Contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care
- May have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses
Requirements
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- California medical license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
- Demonstrated expertise in the clinical practice and teaching of pediatric hematology
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing a career in academic pediatrics
- Evidence of scholarly activity or academic productivity
- Commitment to serving the patient populations of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals
- Background and track record in hemoglobin disorders and gene therapy
Pay
A reasonable estimate for this position is $81,500-$246,000.
