About the Role

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is recruiting a Division Chief for the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Child Abuse Pediatrics. This leadership role offers the opportunity to join a team of 3 full-time physicians, 1 psychologist, and ancillary staff including 3 full-time therapists, 1 full-time social worker, and administrative support. The division features a high-quality academic and clinical program, including a fellowship, and holds national recognition for expertise in education and child protection resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in an academic healthcare environment with a focus on pediatric child protection.
• Oversee clinical, educational, and research activities within the division.
• Support medical student and resident education.
• Advance scholarly activity and research initiatives.
• Maintain a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent).
• Fellowship-trained and board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Child Protection.
• Minimum of 5 years of pediatric child protection experience.
• Eligibility for academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or higher.
• Proven leadership experience in an academic healthcare setting.
