About the role

The Alzheimer’s Center at Albany Med Health System is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking physician to lead the Center as Division Chief of Cognitive Neurology and Director of the Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease (CEAD). This is a unique opportunity to head one of New York State’s 10 designated CEADs and shape the future of dementia care in the Capital Region and beyond.   • Access to the existing Brain Bank, with more than 100 donated brains of patients with dementia.
  • Educational and research opportunities through 8 residents and over 140 medical students per year.

Requirements

We seek a clinician-scientist, at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank, who is deeply committed to improving the lives of patients and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. The ideal candidate will bring:
