Position Summary
The District Team Lead is responsible for supporting and covering branches, and assisting with process improvements and implementations within the Retail Experience portfolio. The ideal candidate should have experience in member experience and service culture.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
- Works with purpose and drives the best team member experience.
- Exhibits Wellby Core Values daily.
- Completely competent in all Branch functions, including Teller, Member Service, Loan Origination, and Deepening.
- Recognizes and addresses concerns for fraud or loss, including reputation risk.
- Makes informed and effective decisions regarding policies.
- Delivers high-level service by understanding and meeting members' needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Opens new member deposit accounts, takes loan applications, manages the lending pipeline, closes loans, makes referrals, and follows up.
- Sets up and participates in district Offsite activities such as SEG presentations, onsite tabling, virtual activities, and community engagement.
- Enlightens members on alternative digital options to manage their accounts.
- Fosters a positive and engaging work environment for team members.
- Supports a consultative and proactive product offering culture.
- Champions change and collaborates cross-functionally.
- Coordinates and leads the Branch as needed.
- Handles conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSA)
- Knowledge of Wellby’s organizational functions and policies.
- Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, business English, spelling, and punctuation.
- Knowledge of retail product philosophy, banking industry best practices, and regulations.
- Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite, digital banking tools, and platforms.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Skilled in using computer equipment and general office machines.
- Ability to analyze, develop, and implement metrics and process enhancements.
- Ability to analyze member/prospect’s credit data and provide insights.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Remains in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Performs frequent sitting, standing, reaching, and grasping.
- Operates computers and other office equipment.
- Moves about the office and attends possible onsite and offsite meetings.
- Communicates in person, in writing, and via telephone.
- Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
- Works in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
