District Shift Leader

About the role

We are seeking a District Shift Leader to join our team at Bruegger’s. This role is part of a targeted General Manager development plan, preparing you for future opportunities as a General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed.
• Travel to gain further independence and learn from additional leaders in the area.
• Lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for the teams.
• Ensure high-quality food and beverages for our guests and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
• Learn restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management.
• Develop skills for P&L analysis, achieving food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old to apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3am).
• Pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license.
• Complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, if a valid certification is not already in possession.

Schedule

• Shifts begin as early as 3am for the first bake and store opening duties.
• You will never have to work past 3PM (NO EVENINGS & NO NIGHTS!)
