About the role

This role focuses on the West Coast and Midwest (majority in California/Utah) of the United States. The ideal candidate will be based in SOCAL, NORCAL, Salt Lake City, and Nevada. The primary responsibilities include developing new customers, managing key accounts, quoting and negotiating pricing, and communicating the value proposition of WMFTG brands to Biopharma, Pharma, and Medical Device markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new customers from leads and manage key accounts to grow sales.
  • Sell WMFTG products for inclusion in OEM fluid path and equipment projects.
  • Respond to leads and quote and negotiate pricing and business agreements.
  • Act as a liaison between factory and customers for custom engineered products.
  • Communicate the value proposition of WMFTG brands to Biopharma, Pharma, and Medical Device markets.
  • Maintain and monitor multi-year project pipeline from design phase through production.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of technical, pricing, delivery, or quality issues.
  • Lead customer experience management, working closely with support teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years related experience.
  • Experience in Life Sciences, particularly Biopharmaceutical or Medical Device.
  • OEM sales experience.

  • Proven track record of consultative sales of premium products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-year pipelines.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $115,172 – $165,000. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate’s expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.

Schedule

This is a remote position that primarily requires sitting at a desk or computer workstation for extended periods, with occasional need to stand or move around to maintain health and well-being. Ability to regularly operate a computer keyboard and mouse. Vision and Hearing: Ability to use a computer and read documents. Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients through video conferencing tools. Dexterity: Basic hand dexterity for typing and using computer peripherals.
