Summary

As a Natus Sensory District Sales Manager for the Newborn Care Division, you will drive sales of our full newborn care portfolio to acute care hospitals within your designated territory. You will build and sustain relationships with hospital executives and clinical leaders, including Nurse Leaders, CNOs, CFOs, and CEOs, to position Natus Sensory as the trusted partner of choice in the NICU and newborn care space.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets for the full Natus Sensory Newborn Care portfolio.
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with hospital executive leadership including CNOs, CFOs, CEOs, and Nurse Leaders within acute care facilities.
  • Drive sales of capital equipment, software platforms, service contracts, and consumable supplies across the Newborn Care portfolio: RetCam retinal imaging, ALGO and AccuScreen hearing screeners, neoBLUE phototherapy, NicView virtual visiting, and Keriton milk management.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and on-site clinical training to showcase the clinical and operational value of Natus Sensory solutions.
  • Position Natus Sensory as a solution-based partner, using a consultative selling approach to identify customer needs and align the right product or platform to address them.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Application Specialists, Customer Success, and Service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale through implementation.
  • Partner with Marketing to leverage campaigns, clinical evidence, and product collateral to drive awareness and pipeline development.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and relay relevant intelligence to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting in Salesforce CRM.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and NICU-focused events to network with clinical and executive stakeholders and represent the Natus Sensory brand.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Sales Operations, Customer Service, Product Management, and Finance to support contract compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends, clinical evidence, regulatory developments, and advancements in newborn care technology to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • All other duties as assigned based on changing market conditions, company initiatives, and business needs.
  • Travel Required: Extensive travel required — up to 75% within the assigned territory. Must be able to attend national conferences and company meetings as required.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in life sciences, health sciences, business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of medical device, healthcare technology, or hospital-based sales experience.
  • Experience selling capital equipment into the acute care or NICU environment strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a complex healthcare selling environment.
  • Experience selling to or engaging with CNOs, Nurse Leaders, CFOs, or hospital executive teams is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with GPO contracts, IDN structures, and hospital procurement processes is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM platforms — Salesforce preferred.
  • Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory.
