District Manager- Michigan

Operations

Supervise the Branch Managers and coordinate their activities to meet or exceed sales and profit targets annually. Ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA standards. Review and maintain proper inventory levels and prevent theft. Implement and enforce company policies.

Sales

• Oversee sales strategies, track performance, and hold Territory Managers accountable.
• Identify and develop new products or sales opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors.
• Develop and maintain key customer relationships.

People Development

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and staffing Branch Managers.
• Grow and develop personnel to build a successful team.
• Approve compensation changes and conduct annual evaluations.

Company Growth

• Seek new opportunities for branch expansion within the District’s boundaries.
• Conduct market surveys for potential expansion.
• Formulate and execute business plans for growth.

Qualifications

• A well-organized person with strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
• Very dependable and capable of working independently.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• At least five years of experience in construction materials management sales roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and communicate effectively.
