About the role
As a District Manager, you will lead a team of General Managers across the district to execute and deliver on all sales, service, and operational programs. You’ll drive community relationships, merchandise sales, technical services, print & marketing services, and business-to-business networks. District Managers spend 70% of their time in the field to maximize impact on their teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership in community engagement, customer service, sales, and team development.
- Deliver profitable growth of sales and services within the district.
- Direct the planning, development, execution, and monitoring of store business plans to meet or exceed sales and service objectives.
- Create a district-wide culture where all associates are engaged, trained, and empowered to deliver a world-class customer experience.
- Actively attract and retain a high-performing team.
- Evaluate workforce analytics to develop succession planning strategies and support General Managers in talent acquisition, staffing, and operational requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6–10 years of progressively responsible management and multi-unit experience in a high-volume retail environment.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and store profitability.
- Experience in revenue generation, including analyzing P&L and financial reports to meet key performance metrics.
- Strong skills in management strategy, staffing, performance management, associate relations, and development.
- Leadership that inspires associate engagement and customer loyalty within the communities served.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
