About the role
The District Manager (DM) oversees a team of Area Managers and hourly staff to ensure exceptional inventory service to customers. Key responsibilities include leading a high-performing team, driving financial success through budgeting, scheduling, expense control, and P&L management, and fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Area Managers and hourly staff to deliver exceptional inventory service to customers.
- Drive financial success through proper budget planning, scheduling, expense control, and P&L management.
- Grow business opportunities and profit growth through increased customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Build and develop talent within the district to support future growth.
- Work with district partners and field support partners to enhance team performance and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in retail or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing retail multi-store operations.
- Demonstrated history of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven record of driving exceptional financial results through engaged planning, event execution, expense control, overtime management, and P&L management.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of training and developing talent for future bench strength.
- Strong communication and service skills to build and maintain relationships with employees and customers.
- Able to work varied, non-traditional hours, including early morning, days, evenings, and flexible schedules.
- Minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts regularly.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check (investigative consumer report) and drug screening.
- Must be able to successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and meet Company Qualified Van Driver (QVD) eligibility requirements where driving is an essential function of the role.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Company fleet driver requirements to support District or Regional business needs.

Pay
$55,000 - $60,000 per year.
Schedule
Frequent travel via automobile and air. Ability to work varied, non-traditional hours including early morning, days, evenings, and flexible schedules.
