District Manager

WasteFree is seeking a part‑time District Manager who will lead Collection Specialists, provide support and encouragement, and ensure high‑quality trash collection services. The role requires strong leadership, reliability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining company core values.

Responsibilities

• Work from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am Sunday through Thursday, with additional hours as reasonably requested during regular business hours Monday‑Friday and occasional weekends.
• Interview Collection Specialist candidates and train new hires.
• Conduct “Audits” and “Redundant Routes” within assigned communities.
• Monitor call‑ins/call‑outs and clock‑ins/clock‑outs.
• Collect and report violation data, holding employees accountable for violations.
• Maintain nightly correspondence with staff and troubleshoot service issues.
• Run service as needed.
• Hold daily meetings and/or phone calls with the Supervisor.
• Monitor and report on Collection Specialists’ work performance.
• Complete Property Profiles.
• Conduct Sunday afternoon check‑ins with employees.
• Submit nightly reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Own pickup truck suitable for trash collection.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance listed in your name.
• Smartphone with a data plan.
• Full‑time employment (in addition to this part‑time role).
• Punctual, dependable, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Capability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb, navigate multiple flights of stairs, and walk distances.

Pay

Up to $32,000 annually (part‑time).

Schedule

Primary shift: 8:00 pm – 1:00 am, Sunday through Thursday. Additional hours may be requested during regular business hours Monday‑Friday and occasional weekends.
