District Manager

About the role

The District Manager is responsible for leading a group of stores within a specific geographic area, ensuring operational excellence, driving sales and profitability, and fostering a culture that reflects MINISO’s core values. The role includes coaching and developing Store Managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintaining visual display standards, and driving team performance. The District Manager will lead and manage a district of 8‑16 stores, ensuring all operational and visual standards are met; larger districts may receive support from an Area Manager.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability through strategic planning, effective execution, and team motivation.
• Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain high‑performing Store Managers and Area Managers (if applicable) and assist in developing future leaders to support MINISO’s rapid growth.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Ensure all stores deliver consistent, outstanding customer service aligned with MINISO expectations.
• Implement and uphold all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Lead execution of all merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives in the district.
• Partner with corporate and regional leadership to align district goals with MINISO’s company strategies.
• Drive loss prevention awareness and shrink reduction efforts across all locations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and inspire large teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong business acumen, including P&L management and labor control.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, initiative, and results‑orientation.
• Ability to travel frequently within assigned district.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
• 3‑5 years of multi‑unit retail management experience; specialty or value retail preferred.

Pay

USD $72,100.00 – USD $90,000.00 per year.
