About the role
The District Manager leads the growth of Learning Care Group's multi-unit business operations/Schools within the Charlotte area, ensuring compliance with safety standards and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Achieve budgeted financial goals and other business metrics.
- Maintain and evaluate each School’s budgeted financial and other business metrics, communicating best practices to business partners and direct reports.
- Implement Company-directed marketing programs to maximize school enrollment and sales revenue.
- Coach and assess Directors and Assistant Directors on the implementation of Company-provided education and curriculum programs.
- Conduct safety audits and monitor compliance with state, federal, and municipal regulations, as well as Company expectations.
- Support accreditation efforts and assess local talent markets to recruit and retain talent.
- Foster a positive work environment by modeling appropriate behavior and ensuring exceptional learning environments.
- Supervise and address performance concerns, both verbally and in writing, for each School Director.
Requirements
- Meet state licensing requirements for the District Manager position.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, business, or a related field preferred.
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience in multi-unit management in the service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or education industry.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written English.
- Be able to drive and pass Company and state background checks.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with a major in early childhood education, child development, business, or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience in multi-unit management in the service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or education industry.
Skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of state, federal, and municipal regulations relevant to childcare.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.

$100,000-$106,000 base salary.

Approximately 75% drivable travel.
