District Manager
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee multiple Kids Empire locations, ensuring a fun, friendly, and clean experience for guests in a safe environment. The ideal candidate will have multi-unit management experience in a dynamic setting and will work closely with the Director of Operations and executive team to develop long-term strategies for productivity and success.
The District Manager will oversee the Park experience and financial performance of a "Home Park" (assuming full Park Manager responsibilities) and up to 3 additional parks within their market. They will lead, manage, and hold teams accountable to Kids Empire standards, focusing on employee training, development, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assume full Park Manager responsibilities at the "Home Park" and build a reliable team to support operations in your absence.
- Supervise and guide Park Managers, supervisors, and employees across multiple locations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular park visits to assess performance, address operational issues, and implement improvement plans.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets for your market.
- Foster effective communication between parks and the Support Center.
- Uphold disciplined training aligned with Learning and Development processes and policies.
- Implement and enforce best practices for customer service, ride/structure maintenance, food service, and other operational areas.
- Conduct park assessments, audits, and investigations to ensure compliance, safety, and performance.
- Manage financial goals for your market, including budgeting and cost control.
- Hire, train, and discipline employees, including termination when necessary.
- Prepare and audit employee schedules, oversee timekeeping, and approve time off for Park Management.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure open/closing procedures are followed at all locations.
- Ensure rides, facilities, and equipment meet safety standards and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Monitor guest adherence to park rules and address unsafe hazards or customer complaints promptly.
- Conduct monthly park assessments and walk the floor regularly to ensure safety and guest compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in a single-unit management role; multi-unit experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of operations, financial management, and customer service.
- Experience developing Performance Improvement Plans and Action Plans.
- Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and business management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment (e.g., children yelling, music) and tolerate peak-hour demands.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and travel frequently within your market.
Physical Demands
- Constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
- Frequent travel between locations in the Atlanta market.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and a hectic environment during peak hours.

This District Manager role oversees three locations in Atlanta:

- Marietta
- Rivermont
