About the role

The District Manager leads a team of Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representatives dedicated to serving Pfizer's clients. This role requires excellent management skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Create and drive district strategy and short-term tactics to achieve business goals
  • Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing team
  • Work in the field with representatives to coach and counsel on skill development and goal achievement
  • Monitor data analytics to ensure resource utilization and tool effectiveness
  • Ensure call plan adherence and execution
  • Set a positive tone and high standard for the district team
  • Aid in designing business plans, employee development plans, and monthly reports
  • Organize training, conferences, and district meetings
  • Communicate with key leadership regularly

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
  • Ability to influence team member activities
  • 5 years of management experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Healthcare Industry
  • Proven ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on set objectives
  • Ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-quality team
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
  • Lead a team and reinforce strong account management skills
  • Product launch experience preferred
  • Sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Professional, proactive demeanor
  • Interpret and utilize business data to drive positive business results
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build business relationships
  • Results-driven with exceptional attention-to-detail and knowledge around metrics
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Computer/iPad proficient

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $109K – $202K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Schedule

Overnight travel may be required (depending on geographical location).
