About the role
The District Manager leads a team of Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representatives dedicated to serving Pfizer's clients. This role requires excellent management skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and analytical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Create and drive district strategy and short-term tactics to achieve business goals
- Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing team
- Work in the field with representatives to coach and counsel on skill development and goal achievement
- Monitor data analytics to ensure resource utilization and tool effectiveness
- Ensure call plan adherence and execution
- Set a positive tone and high standard for the district team
- Aid in designing business plans, employee development plans, and monthly reports
- Organize training, conferences, and district meetings
- Communicate with key leadership regularly
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
- Ability to influence team member activities
- 5 years of management experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Healthcare Industry
- Proven ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on set objectives
- Ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-quality team
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Lead a team and reinforce strong account management skills
- Product launch experience preferred
- Sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Professional, proactive demeanor
- Interpret and utilize business data to drive positive business results
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build business relationships
- Results-driven with exceptional attention-to-detail and knowledge around metrics
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer/iPad proficient

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $109K – $202K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Schedule
Overnight travel may be required (depending on geographical location).
