About the role
We’re an industry leader in wildlife management services for residential and commercial properties, providing humane wildlife removal, exclusion, and damage repair solutions nationwide since 1984. This role is ideal for leaders who excel in both service and sales environments. As a District Manager, you’ll oversee multiple locations, ensuring operational consistency, service quality, and financial performance. You’ll lead by example—driving sales growth, supporting service excellence, and developing teams that deliver strong results while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, state and federal laws applicable to our industry (e.g., Dept. of Agriculture, Dept. of Natural Resources, OSHA, EPA, division of Wage and Hour).
- Assure all subordinates are properly registered and meet ongoing education requirements.
- Train employees in wildlife biology, entomology, administration, policies and procedures, fleet and equipment maintenance, time management, ethical business practices, and customer satisfaction.
- Control expenses and establish approval systems for monitoring.
- Manage field staff effectively.
- Optimize route management and growth within company guidelines.
- Develop current management staff and field personnel.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Recruit and hire new talent.
- Drive continuous profit improvement.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and quickly resolve customer issues and concerns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA within 60 days of start date.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience.
- Sales, military, or job-related experience.
- Must reside or relocate central to your assigned region.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using various software and applications.
Work Environment
We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Drive to various locations, often covering large territories.
- Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.).
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders safely.
- Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
