About the role

The Field Services District Manager oversees branch operations, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency. This role drives revenue and EBITDA growth for Clean Harbors, a leading environmental, energy, and industrial services provider.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Develop and manage regional budgets and business plans aligned with corporate targets and goals.
  • Establish targets and goals for Branch Managers and oversee their implementation.
  • Maintain and monitor performance, implement strategies, and address issues collaboratively with internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Prepare business reports and information for senior management, analyze trends, and identify business risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor regional business intelligence and develop strategies to minimize risks and maximize opportunities for growth and development.
  • Manage KPIs, safety metrics, incidents, new business prospects, revenue achievement, regulatory compliance, among others.
  • Partner with internal departments and stakeholders to remove roadblocks and increase efficiencies.
  • Lead and manage the divisional manpower planning, ensuring timely acquisition, mobilization, and demobilization of resources.
  • Support business development and marketing initiatives at the branch level, ensuring employees receive relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Direct and optimize the utilization of personnel, equipment, tools, and inventory to fulfill customer commitments and contracts.
  • Actively manage maintenance, inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure availability as needed.
  • Follow all local, state (provincial), and federal compliance regulations and requirements.
  • Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial), and federal requirements.
  • Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures.
  • Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
