About the role
The District Flagger uses their personal vehicle to travel to assigned work locations and receives a bi-weekly gas stipend. They direct vehicular traffic efficiently while providing exceptional hospitality, assisting patrons, upholding parking policies, and helping guests with directions or account setup.
Pay
Hourly base pay range: $17–$19 per hour.
Schedule
Part-time hours, primarily evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Assist guests with directions and inquiries
- Stand while serving guests and provide information about the surrounding area and attractions
- Flag at location entrances to attract transient traffic
- Position removable signage
- Uphold site management’s parking policies and procedures
- Assist guests with setting up user accounts
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
- One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend Standard English, simple instructions, and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Understanding of time-based rates

- Frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods; may need to run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and constantly move objects over 10 pounds
- Majority of work performed outdoors for extended periods, including entire shifts, in varying weather conditions (extreme heat and cold)
- Travel up to 100% may be required
