DISTRIBUTION TECHNICIAN I - 2nd Shift

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Performs assignments in one of the following seven activity groups: Order Selection, Replenishment, Inbound, Outbound, Returns, Organizer, Repack/Hazmat. May be required to perform other activities based on business needs. Career progression will require to cross-train in multiple activity groups.
• Operates transporter, stand-up, reach or sit-down fork truck.
• Completes all paperwork & system transactions in accordance with standard departmental operating procedures. Paperwork can include, pick list, labels, tagging and any customer required placards.
• Identifies and communicates issues to shift crew leader, warehouse supervisor, team manager. Attends shift/team meetings and recommends general process improvements.
• Performs general duties including sanitation and battery changing.

• Minimum level of education required to perform the job: Not specified.
• Preferred level of education: GED.

Experience

• Minimum number of years and type of experience required to perform the job: Two years in expanded role in either Safety management, Efficiency management, Training management, or Quality management/ OR performs one additional activity group for a total of four of seven activity groups.

Other Skills & Competencies

• Basic MS Windows experience preferred.
