About the role

Manages the delivery or deployment of contracted services to customers to ensure that SLAs (service level agreements) and KPI (key performance indicators) as defined in the relevant contracts are met or exceeded. Supports business products by collaborating with vendors, customers, and other internal support groups.

Responsible for daily facility activities related to government compliance, inbound receipts, kitting, processing orders, procuring suppliers, managing inventory, staffing, facility inspections, employee engagement, development, safety, security, profitability, etc. Responsible for retaining and strengthening customer relationships, which may include face-to-face customer service. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the operation.

May provide support to Healthcare (HLD) Operations and will have exposure to Quality system and regulatory guidelines. Provides specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual in nature, typically acquired through a combination of university education and experience. May have responsibility for supervising others in the capacity of a “player coach” but primary focus is individual expertise. Maintains direct contact with HLD Client Sr. Leadership via email or phone including structured meetings.

This position operates primarily in a temperature-controlled environment maintained between 68°F and 77°F. Responsibilities may also require periodic work in alternative storage areas maintained between 36°F and 46°F, with occasional exposure to cooler temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery or deployment of contracted services to meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs
  • Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal support groups to support business products
  • Oversee daily facility activities including government compliance, inbound receipts, kitting, order processing, supplier procurement, inventory management, staffing, facility inspections, employee engagement, development, safety, security, and profitability
  • Retain and strengthen customer relationships, including face-to-face customer service
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities
  • Provide support to Healthcare (HLD) Operations with exposure to Quality systems and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain formalized training through UPS HLD Quality Systems (QN+ and EQMS)
  • Apply working knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within the job discipline
  • Assess straightforward problems and propose solutions based on analysis, experience, and precedents
  • May be required to address after-hours security and temperature alarm contact list responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
  • 1+ year of UPS Healthcare experience (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience in warehousing, shipping, and receiving
  • Leadership skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM (weekends when applicable).
