Distribution Supervisor, 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Distribution Supervisor, you'll be part of the Jackson team working as an on-site employee.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of employees via active safety culture management, policy enforcement, and assisting in developing improvements to our business
• Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the department's mission in an effective and efficient manner
• Plan and coordinate work by performing time studies, cost analysis, or other means as necessary
• Train and motivate; monitor and evaluate performance of associates in the department
• Ensure associates ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations
• Team member engagement. Effectively build relationships and trust with the team to successfully execute daily/weekly/monthly goals. Develop Team Leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned associates
• Monitor, measure, and document department performance for cost, labor, and productivity requirements
• Working with the Human Resources Department, select employees through the normal hiring process, consistently administer policies and procedures as applicable, monitor employee performance/attendance/time, resolve associate relation issues, coach and counsel for improvement and apply discipline consistently where necessary up to and including termination of employment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum requirement of associate's degree
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting
• Minimum 1+ years' recent relevant leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with inventory or warehouse software, databases, and other systems including SAP and WMS, preferred

Pay

The salary range for this position is $63,800.00 - $102,700.00 annually. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
