Drug-Free Workplace Policy
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) maintains a drug-free workplace. All employees are required to refrain from illegal drug use on and off duty. Pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug testing is conducted. The DLA drug testing panel includes marijuana, cocaine, opiates, heroin, phencyclidine, amphetamines, methamphetamines, fentanyl, norfentanyl, MDMA, MDA, and opioids. Use of cannabidiol (CBD) products may result in a positive test for marijuana. Refusal to undergo testing or a positive test may result in withdrawal of a tentative job offer or removal from federal service.
