Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Distribution Coordinator is to direct the activity of all patient Transporters and Decontamination Techs within the department to ensure the timely response to all calls received by the department. The Distribution Coordinator must have a complete understanding of all department responsibilities as it relates to the hospital, receive, dispatch and prioritize all calls and resolve issues when necessary. The Distribution Coordinator may also be required to perform transport or Decontamination duties when staffing is limited.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Experience: Experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred
