About the role
Rotates between various departments learning all functions in the distribution center.
Acquires in-depth and a complete knowledge of the workflow within the distribution center.
Follows a logical program from receipt of product in the DC, receipt of customer orders to the shipment of product to our customers.
- Answer specific questions about each functional area in the distribution center to ensure understanding of all processes.
Responsibilities
- Works with Engineering and Distribution Management to develop knowledge of training principles, methods, and work measurement.
- Become familiar with policies and procedures within the distribution center.
- Become familiar with Kontoor’s safety structure and policies.
- Completes special projects as assigned by management.
- Will be key personnel in implementation of new warehouse systems.
Qualifications
- Will be required to perform various warehouse processes during the training period and required to learn the expectations of all warehouse operations.
- Some travel required.
