Main Activities/Responsibilities
- Establishing a culture of advocating for continuous improvement on all levels
- Managing work-load for non-exempt employees
- Developing and supporting warehouse best practices
- Ensuring correct shipment of all customer orders
- Collaborating cross-functionally within your team and their strengths
- Developing people: proposing training, mentoring associates, building-up your team, coaching and counseling performance and productivity on a regular basis
- Maintaining communication and harmony amongst team members
- Creating awareness through daily productivity meetings and visual communication boards
- Maintaining and ensuring compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Partnering with safety to ensure proper procedures are followed; and ensuring documentation is filled out after accidents or incidents
- Maintaining warehouse staff job results by coaching, guiding, developing and leading associates with planning, monitoring and appraising job results
- Demonstrating an attitude of support and fostering participation in the environment of continuous improvement
- Engaging, managing, and driving accountability to direct reporting staff
- Developing people through appropriate training, performance reviews and structured succession plans as appropriate

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience in Warehouse management
- 2 years of experience in a position with occasional customer contact
- Knowledge/experience in SAP or equivalent ERP systems
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Preferred Certification in Lean/Six Sigma
