Distribution Center Supervisor

TBC Corporation, a leading marketer and distributor of automotive replacement tires, seeks a Distribution Center Supervisor.

About the role

The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, and supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping, receiving, inventory control, and route management.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all picking, receiving, put away, load/ship of all orders, product returns.
• Lead daily safety meetings and pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Protect company assets, maintain facilities, and resolve operational issues.
• Manage safety initiatives, deliver on customer expectations, and comply with company policies.
• Provide hands-on support for day-to-day operations, including determining routes, operating MHE, moving inventory, etc.

Qualifications

• An Associate degree in Logistics, Business, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated management experience, including leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Proactive team player with excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible schedules including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Experience with ERP and routing software is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
