Distribution Center Group Lead

Responsibilities

• Affords support to the DC Supervisor in planning and organizing department goals.
• Communicates effectively with Supervisor and associates, both verbally and in writing.
• Partners with Supervisor to build a collaborative environment among associates and models positive, professional behavior.
• Possesses knowledge of all DC systems and ensures associates adhere to procedures, providing performance feedback.
• Coordinates the training of current and new hire associates.
• Promotes safety awareness and participates in accident prevention initiatives.
• Ensures associates follow safety, hazardous material, and OSHA training guidelines.
• Assists in all areas, including but not limited to: standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, using hand/eye coordination, grasping and holding, and operating power equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of DC operations and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Exceptional performance record and ability to maintain high standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
• Ability to perform essential functions including standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, grasping, holding, and operating power equipment.

Multiple shifts available:

• Front Half: Sunday-Wednesday 6am-4:30pm, overtime as needed
• Back Half: Wednesday-Saturday 6am-4:30pm, overtime as needed
• PM: Monday-Friday 5pm-1am, overtime as needed
