About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dispatcher to join our team in a unique role supporting both ambulance and Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) dispatch operations. In this position, you will work closely with a highly experienced team to coordinate patient transportation and support critical healthcare services within the community.
Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from hospitals, patients, and healthcare providers.

- Coordinate ambulance and MIH services by dispatching appropriate personnel and resources.
- Accurately relay critical information, including patient details, locations, and call nature.

- Collaborate with and follow up with MIH team members to ensure continuity of care and proper communication.
- Input, track, and update mobile healthcare call data in real time.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs and prepare reports for review.
- Serve as a liaison between facilities, providers, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications/diplomas preferred.
- Experience: 1–2 years in emergency dispatching, EMS, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure. Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS, and communication tools. Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
