Role Overview The Dispatcher is responsible for managing specimen pickup scheduling, coordinating high-volume communications, and optimizing routing within a designated service area. Using dispatch software and various databases, the role focuses on balancing customer response times with operational productivity. Key Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate specimen pickups via route management softwareHandle high-volume email and phone communications to allocate resources efficientlyManage the service area to deliver optimal customer solutionsMonitor and meet productivity and expense targets while ensuring service qualityResolve specimen-related issues and coordinate field service requests using multiple databases Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalentProficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and WordAbility to quickly learn dispatch software and dashboardsStrong time management, problem-solving skills, and technical aptitudeSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyPreferred: 2+ years in logistics or operations, 1+ year in a medical courier environment
