Responsibilities
- Maintains expense minimization by overseeing and directing installers' overtime and travel time.
- Balances customer satisfaction with installer efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Selects installers/sub-contractors for assignments based on location, skills, training, licenses, and experience.
- Coordinates scheduling of installers, apprentices, delivery drivers, field managers, and equipment.
- Creates work orders and dispatches installers/sub-contractors/drivers to ensure clear communication of assignments and objectives.
- Maintains daily compliance of installers/sub-contractors with scheduled duties, including work order updates, time card, and email period compliance, and monitors GPS data.
- Monitors absenteeism and tardiness of installers/sub-contractors and reports information to CIPM and Project Manager.
- Coordinates tools, parts, and components for projects to ensure installers/sub-contractors have necessary items for success.
- Reports situations requiring change orders to Project Manager and CIPM.
- Ensures compliance with all project-specific requirements, such as daily start/finish times and safety requirements.
- Updates jobsite readiness forms and invoices for payment, and oversees communication with customers to confirm site readiness and schedules.
- Follows up on preliminary review of completed forms and reports any prolonged delays to Project Manager and CIPM.
- Sends and follows up on contractor punch lists and final invoices, and oversees communication with customers to confirm completion and return schedules.
- Reports issues regarding punch list completion to Project Manager and CIPM, and coordinates with customers to resolve any issues.
- Maintains consistent communication with customers through phone calls and emails.
- Updates the Project in Salesforce.com with all pertinent details on activities, schedules, etc., to update the project management team.
- Schedules inspections with inspection agencies as required before turnover.
- Coordinates travel details for out-of-town installations, including hotel stays, airline travel, and per diem transactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in scheduling and dispatching.
- Logical reasoning skills to assign tasks appropriately based on applicable training, licensing, physical capabilities, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work harmoniously with installers, technicians, other employees, and the public.
- Experience in de-escalating and handling challenging circumstances, such as temperamental customers, installers, technicians, and others.
- Excellent customer service skills.
