Dispatcher

POSITION PURPOSE

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform dispatching activities related to the Transportation Department, as well as maintaining the schedule and communication with the drivers, transportation supervisor/manager, center manager/director and maintenance personnel. Reroute the bus routes and driver assignments as needed to meet door-to-door transportation needs of the PACE Organizations' participants.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess a comprehensive knowledge obtained through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or if less than one (1) year of experience, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing required.
