Responsibilities

• Collaborate with routing specialists and schedulers to optimize routes.
• Dispatch drivers using information from the reservation department and online reservation application.
• Review and respond to all incoming calls, confirming details with clients and reviewing reservations two weeks in advance.
• Discuss client availability and review online reservations.
• Field incoming calls for same-day requests, ensure availability, and examine possible route changes.
• Initiate outbound calls to city connect and access services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve potential pick-up problems before they result in service issues.
• Ensure service on missed pick-ups by coordinating driver movement in the field.
• Assist in determining the daily level of driver staffing to balance responsiveness and productivity.
• Perform other duties assigned by the operations staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of general work experience, including driving and customer service experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have been a licensed driver for at least two (2) years.
• Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No criminal convictions for DWI, DUI, assault, or possession.
• This position includes weekend availability.

Pay

$18.19 per hour.
