Dispatch Coordinator / Dispatcher - Hybrid Work Schedule

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor designated customer's tank readings
• Plan deliveries as indicated by current fuel level and average daily usage
• Maintain inventory managed tanks at acceptable fuel levels
• Adjust delivery time as necessary to manage customer fuel needs with the company’s best purchasing opportunities
• Document specific customer inventory requests
• Schedule, coordinate, and manage FTL freight from terminal groups to customer locations
• Build strong relationships with carriers to create a more profitable freight coordination
• Implement terminal group sourcing adjustments based on arbitrage opportunities
• In the event a carrier declines an order or is unable to meet the delivery requirements, obtain secondary options to ensure delivery meets the customer’s expectations
• Support carrier phone calls and emails to provide loading direction in an efficient and professional manner, based on established criteria per established thresholds
• Coordinate with Supply regarding contract compliance
• Review and address carrier lifting accuracy
• Complete load confirmations daily, no exceptions
• Complete delivery confirmations daily, no exceptions
• Support carrier phone calls and emails to provide loading direction in an efficient and professional manner, based on established criteria per established thresholds
• Implement Supply strategy set forth by optimization software and market opportunities
• Address carrier lifting accuracy

Requirements

• Formal Education & Certification: High school diploma or equivalency required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge & Experience: Minimum 1 year of prior experience in dispatching or supply chain preferred, Petroleum experience preferred
• Confident skills with Microsoft Office suite
